ISS-EWATUS second pilot study - WaterSocial media platform

Background:
Launched at the beginning of 2016, WaterSocial is a gamified social media platform that shares the water saving message. The importance of saving water is told through the sharing of photos and tips, recording individual water consumption, and by participating in water use discussions.

The objective:
The purpose of the study is to collect user data and obtain user feedback to enhance the look, function and user experience of Watersocial.

Duration:
The pilot programme will run from Monday 13th June to Sunday 31st July 2016. You will need to be available to take part in online activities using a web browser and/or a mobile app during this period. The amount of time and frequency that you participate in WaterSocial activities is decided by you.

What is expected of you:
1.Complete an online sign up form.
2.Register on the Water Social platform.
3.Download the new mobile app.
4.Participate in WaterSocial activities, such as photo or tip sharing or recording your water use in the Water Diary.
5.Provide feedback once the study is finished via an online form.

Funding: Brunel University London is funding this research as part of the EU FP7 ISS-EWATUS Project.

Confidentiality: All information which is collected about you during the course of the research will be kept strictly confidential. Any information about you which leaves Brunel University premises will have your name and address removed so that you cannot be identified from it.

How to signup: As participation is entirely voluntary, it is up to you to decide whether or not to take part. If you decide to take part you are still free to withdraw at any time and without giving a reason.
